Interested in making a difference in your community?  Join our crew of volunteers and help support the mission of the Seniors Council.  We have many exciting opportunities for temporary or ongoing volunteers in Santa Cruz, San Benito,Monterey and Santa Clara Counties.  Please explore the programs below to find a way to help today.

Foster Grandparent Program

Are you aged 55 or older and want to mentor and tutor children in pre-school – 3rd grade classrooms? Volunteer now (average 15-20 hours per week) and join this popular and respected national program with more than 30 years of service experience.

Senior Companion Program

Ease loneliness and social isolation for homebound seniors and their caregivers by volunteering as a senior companion.  Volunteers provide friendly home visits, transportation for shopping and appointments, and a vital perspective for caregivers.
